Parakeets act much like any of the other members of the hookbill group. They love to socialize with other parakeets, or, if they were handraised, with people. They chitter and "talk. " They also enjoy manipulating, and "playing" with things inside and outside of their cage.

Basically all budgies are curious and playful. Provide them various toys and healthy foods daily. They are social flock birds,make sure budgie is part of flock. Every budgie needs to preen to make their feathers clean and neat. They will have a bath once in a week,some will not bath.
