First thing to look at when you are going to paint your kitchen cabinets is what color your walls are. I have yellow walls in my kitchen and my cabinets are a pretty light green. Or if you want something really pretty and clean, just paint them white or cream.

Use shades of yellow, generally lighter on the walls and darker on the cabinets. Accent with shades of green, as green is an easier color to find for appliances and compliments the yellow wonderfully. This will lighten your kitchen with a calming effect, perfect for at home cooking/baking.
