Yes. That water is condensation that should be piped away from your unit. The pipe could be clogged or at an angle that does not allow water to properly drain.

No your ok, its just condensation from the pump unless there is a discoloration to the water or some chemical smell to it your good.

Yes, even little water left in the air conditioner can damage the heat pump. As the moisture from the water can rust the heat pump spoiling it.

No you should not be concerned. This puddle is normal. It happens to most air conditioners. Thank you very much have a good day.
