The normal temperature of the food storage area of a fridge is about 40 degrees. Food freezes around 32 degrees, and you don't want that. If the fridge is 40 degrees and the freezer is freezing food, your appliance is working perfectly.

If the temp is rising in both the refrigerator and the freezer, call a repair man. Obviously, there's something wrong with the compressor.

You should first check the users manuals with fridges, sometimes they can vary on the automatic temperature when they come out of the factory. It is very easy to adjust temperature by using the cold or colder knob located either on the side or the ceiling of the fridge. Contact your service man if there are more problems.

You may have the settings to high for your fridigare, you should check the settings and make sure they are not low. They are on the inside of your fridigare
