I can't get my fridge to go below 40 degree. The freezer works fine but isn't making ice. What to do?

My husband replace the thermostat.

If the thermostat is working, make sure it is set for the coldest temperature and also that if there is a seperate control for the freezer it is also set at the lowest point. If none of that works you may need to have the refridgerant recharged. You will probably have to call a service technician to do that.

Try contacting the manufacturer for a proper replacement of the thermostat or other parts. The manufacturer can give you the exact parts you need. A third-party vendor's part might not be compatible with your appliance. Another thing to consider is if the warranty is still active - maybe you can get it repaired.
