If I have a Hoyer Lift installed for my mom, will someone come out and show us how to use it?

She has MS.

In most cases, whoever you buy your Hoyer Lift from should also offer training and safety information at the time it is installed. Call the distributor and arrange to have training at the time it's installed.

Generally no. They will provide you with books and videos on how to operate the lift. If your mother has healthcare coverage or something along the lines of Hospice, then someone can come out to show you how it works. These devices are usually rather straight forward and no matter who shows you, your mother will probably need help.

Yes someone should come out and show you how to use it. For example the person who installs it will have to show you a demo or do a demo before the install.
