If you have accidentally uninstalled programs, you will have to reinstall them. If you have just deleted the shortcuts from the desktop or start menu, you can find the programs in Program Files folder on your C: drive. Locate the program that you lost, right click, and select "create shortcut". You can now put this shortcut on your desktop.

You may have to reinstalled them from the original disc's if you lost them due to a crash. You can verify they are really gone by looking through Program Files.

You can go to add/remove software and try to change the program if it is still listed. Otherwise you either have to re-install it from your original disks.

You can either re-install them using the disc that they came with, or you can use system restore in the administrative tools to restore you computer to a date before you lost your programs. Also you can restore your computer from a backup drive or folder if you have one.

go to control panel, open your "programs and feature" (the words might vary depending on what version of windows you are using. but it will contain the word "program". it might say "uninstall a program"), and on the right, there should be a tab called "turn off/on microsoft features". you might need a windows CD depending on what you need.
