The cost to repair an ignition coil will depend on the vehicle. Replacing the coil yourself will obviously be cheaper. A new coil from the auto parts store will cost an average of $150. If you replace the coil at the dealership, parts and labor combined can cost between $300 and $500. Good luck.

Depending on the component of the ignition that you are replacing it will often be about 300-400 dollars to replace a starter motor and ignition solenoid. If you just have to replace the battery much less.

Well that is hard to say. It will really depend on what kind of car you have and where you take it. I would call around to get estimates.
