it depends on your vetrinary clinic of course. some humane societies will fix cats for little or no cost to the owner. a vet could charge from 100-200.

Some animal shelters offer clincs for spaying/nuetering a pet. If you check your phone book you might find a cat shelter who also a offers spay or nueter program on a sliding pay scale, that will fit your budget. Pet stores also advertise this service sometimes for a fee or dontation to an animal shelter.

Call around to vets to find the prices in your area. Also, call the Humane Society or animal shelter to see what the cheaper options are. Sometimes large pet stores will have a clinic where spaying or neutering is cheaper than a private vet.

The cost to get your cat fixed depends on your area. Your vet may charge any where from $100 to $200 dollars for females and $50 to $150 for males. You can also contact your local humane society. Thier prices are generally a forth to one half the cost of the vets office.

It usually costs about fifty to sixty dollars to spay or neuter a cat, but there are usually community resources that offer the operation at a reduced cost or free.
