How many ounces of formula or breast milk do babies need at 3 1/2 months old?
I need to put my baby in day care, but don't know how much food to send with her. She is breast fed, but I would consider supplementing with formula if necessary.
Each infant is different, and usually different infants need a different amount, at certain times of the day. The standard however for this age, is approximately 17-23 ounces per day.
At 3 and a half months old the amount of formula an infant needs soley depends on the infant itself. If it is a "good eater" the infant will take between six and eight ounces of formula.
You should take weight and height into consideration. You are going to want to multiply your babies weight by 2. 5 to find out how many ounces they need.
