Diecasting is a process similar to casting other metal items. Instead of using a wax copy of an object, metal molds or "dies" are filled with molten metal. Once they have cooled down the mold is removed and the form is removed. Next the car bodies are cleaned up and painted. Then the undercarriage and wheels are added.

The process of die casting is forcing molten metal into a mold. The process usually usually involves two metal dies that have been machined to a desired shape/mold. Like cars.
