You could cover up your garden with a net, which will not just stop the birds from raiding your garden, but also allow the sunlight to flow in.

Try hanging old CDs from wires above the area where the birds are eating the berries. The CDs should swing freely and the reflective side will scare off the birds.

The most effective thing to do is to shoot the darn things! It is the most permanent and effective solution. In all seriousness, you may want to check to see if you have bugs. Most likely you do and they are attracted to the quick lunch!
