First you must determine the exact location of the leak. Is it coming from the sink itself, the countertop, or the pipes connected to the sink? If there is a leak around the sink, it may just need to be re caulked.

If the sink is cast iron/enameled, re-enamel the area where you think the leak is; prep and repair kits are sold at large home centers. If you think it is by the stopper, then replace the entire stopper unit and pipe connecting under the sink, you might need a new gasket. Last, you might have to replace entire sink.

At first clean the sink dry. Find the leakage area then put m-seal to fix there. M-seal is one of good solution for basin leakage proof.
