How do I fix a leak around my skylight?

Well you probably have a bad seal around it up on the roof. Remove the shingles around it and replace the flashing and reseal it. Apply sealant to the underside of the shingle above and to the side also.

You need to go outside of the house and put all weather silicon around the skylight this will allow the water to be kept out.

You need to get on the roof and see if there is any runoff tile. The water must be accumulating somewhere are that need to be re-routed down the roof.

Go on the roof and examine the flashing around the light. All it usually takes is a light application of roof sealant to the flashing.

It may just need some caulking. Use an elastomeric sealant that will stay flexible for a long time. You may also use a butyl selant tape arounnd the edge of the skylight. If these don't work you may also need to reflash around the skylight.
