It depends on the color of your flooring. If your flooring is dark you should go with a lighter color like white. If it's light you can go dark.

To paint kitchen cabinets one should go for light green color along with white/light sky blue color combination which gives soothing to the eyes and the person feel close to the nature,concentration also increases. It is proven that the person is happy the preparation of food is tasty, Person who is working in kitchen also not get tired.

You can paint them white or brown like wood. It all depends what type of look you want. White with black accessories looks great.
