Woolite will probably not get out a pet stain. Regular household vinegar and baking soda creates the right chemistry to remove the stain and odor. Some commercial pet stain cleaners work well but they may bleach the material you are trying to clean. You can scrub the stain with a baking soda paste, saturate with vinegar, and let it dry.

If it is a washable item, add a box of baking soda with your laundry detergent and wash as usual. This will get rid of any odor and most of the time the stain. If a stain is still visible after washing, use a carpet stain remover to get the rest of it out.
