Chlorine a chemical that is used in most disposable diaper brands. It is also commonly used in swimming pools to keep them sanitary. Chlorinated water can also cause asthma. It would be better if you wait until your baby is around six months old to be sure that your baby can take the effects of the chemicals that chlorine has.

Chlorine in pools is not normally dangerous for infants. Make sure the concentration levels are correct. Infants do have sensitive skin so chlorine can irritate some babies more. You probably want to wash baby and put lotion on after being in the pool. If skin gets really irritated could be an allergy, so avoid the pool until baby is older.

No, your baby should be able to play in the pool without experiencing any ill effects. Make sure that the baby does not actually drink the pool water and that she is not in the pool for more than about an hour or so at a time, and also that she gets a good back when she comes home.

There has been no indication that chlorine will harm your infant. Just make sure to bath them when you get home and put lotion on them to prevent their skin from drying out.

It will irritate their eyes, nose and mouth. It can cause throat irritation if swallowed. But swimming in chlorinated water if their eyes and face are protected is safe as long as precautions against drowning are taken.
