Mineral oil may help, non-flavored yogurt is better- but your dog needs help now. An intestinal blockage is serious, and your dog can go downhill very quickly. Nothing you can do at home can relieve this as safely and surely as a vet's diagnosis and treatment.

Mineral Oil can help constipation, but most likely will not help an intestinal blockage. A Veterinarian really should be consulted since an intestinal blockage is a very serious matter for animals and can lead to death if not treated properly.

my vet whom trusts us being a dog breeder said to give them mineral oil and pumpkin pie filling as it can help them push it through if not after 48 hours its time to go to the vet.

It depends what the blockage is. You should really take the dog to a vet to make sure it isn't something that requires surgery.

I have heard that indoor pets such as dogs or cats need to eat grass to help them digest. Mineral oil that does not contain a lot of fat might help too. I personally would not use mineral oil.
