Will a sinus infection in children cause seizures and bad breath?

It will cause bad breath, but i never heard of it causing seizures. Make sure that your child is brushing his tongue. This is a major cause of bad breath. See a Physician about the sinus infection. He will know what you should do or not do. Also be sure that he is learning to floss.

Sinus infection in children if left untreated will cause a rapid rise in the childs body temperature. Once the temperature reaches the area above 102 the danger of brain damage and seizures is a possibility. The fluid trapped in the sinus cavity can become festered and putrid. This fluid will cause bad breath.

A sinus infection may only cause seizures in children if they have a tumor or cyst in the brain assisting the inflamation. As for the bad breath, they may just feel too awful to brush their teeth.
