Ovaries may be overstimulated by fertility drugs. Women can develop cysts in the ovaries that can rupture. Ecotopic pregnancy in the ovaries will cause them to rupture.

Ovaries would burst if there was a cyst on it that was just getting bigger and bigger this could cause your ovaries to burst or an ectopic pregnancy could cause it to.

Your ovaries can bust if you have a twisting of the fallopian tubes. If this happens, blood flow can be impeded causing the ovaries to rupture.

An ovarian cyst that was allowed to get larger and larger may cause an ovary to "bust". Also, an ectopic pregnancy could cause this.
