Why does Supercuts hair salon have a bad reputation?

Supercuts hires new stylists who have little experience and pays them next to nothing. The management is poor, the attitude is poor, training is non-existent and the consumer suffers as a result. Stylists who start out at Supercuts are often perceived as second-rate.

ACTUALLY the do have training. You are required to pass a training course before you're allowed to cut hair their.. so I disagree. add a comment

Supercuts has a bad reputation for "lazy" employees. There are many complaints that the hair stylists don't take their time with the cut, or don't listen to what you want.

Well, they are actually expected to finish a haircut in 15-20 minutes and I think a lot of the stylists feel pressured by the company. I have known a girl who was fired for taking too long on a cut there. Don't blame the stylists, blame the company. add a comment

Do not ever take a job with a company that has a bad reputation because when you leave them their reputation will follow you in you next job venture and you don't want that.
