If your computer supports "wake on LAN" and this feature is enabled, your computer may start when it detects activity on its network interface.

If the power cut or power fluctuation then automatically the computer will restart. Therefore 1st check the power connection and loose contact for the computer

If your computer is coming on when you turn it on quickly, you have a rapid bootup. If it is coming on by itself, it is infected with a spybot.

My computer does scheduled updates and after that it turns itself off and back on again. This could be the reason it seems to turn on automatically.
