Why are my fingers itching after an acrylic nail application?

If this happens after the procedure, then you are probably allergic to something that is being used in the process.

Its possible that you are allergic but it is more likely that you are just itching due to the fact that some of the nail and glue is touching the skin. Even if this procedure is done carefully it is very irratating to the nail and finger due to its nature.

While not overly common, it is very possible that you are having an allergic reaction to the acrylic in nail polish. You should see a doctor to have this examined.

Having a reaction to the acrylic is very common. Getting your nails done also dries out your fingers because of all the dust and powder in the air. If you start developing a rash put calydryl with cortizone over the skin and it will go away.

I just had artificial nails put on and 4 hours later my cuticles and fingers are itchy what can I do?
