The twins were played by two separate twin actors. Daniel and Kevin Renteria played the twins as babies. Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit portrayed the twin characters as toddlers till the shows end.

Jesse (John Stamos) and Becky (Lori Loughlin) Katsopolis had twin box, Alex and Nicky. There were two sets of twins who played the boys. The first set were brothers Daniel and Kevin Renteria. The second set were Dylan and Blake Tuomy-Wilhoit.

Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit played Nicky and Alex Katsopolis. Nicholas was named after Jesse's father, because Jesse appreciated his dad for his great hair and Alex after Becky's college professor.

As a mother of three and seeing all episodes of Full House, I don't recall twin boys on the show. There were twin girls who were alternated in the show to play the youngest girl, Michelle. This role was played by Mary Kate and Ashley.
