Who makes a good hdtv camcorder?

There are some really good hd camcorders on the marlet these days. JVC is a pretty good brand, but i highly recommend Canon. Canon is a great brand with a wonderful reputation because they make quality products.

I think you mean HD camcorders, not HDTV. JVC makes pretty nice HD camcorders, but they're really pricey! If you're on a lower budget, Insignia makes great HD camcorders. Or, if you don't mind plopping down some more cash, Sony makes the best camcorders (we're talking Hollywood quality here). So there's your ultimatum.

As far as reviews go panasonic makes a great hdtv camera, and jvc is alright but not top of the line. Panasonic or sony!
