Floyd Patterson was an American 2-time heavyweight boxing champion, and the first to regain that title. He won a gold medal at the 1952 Olympic Games as an amateur middleweight.

Patterson had a stellar career in boxing, He won a Gold Medal in 1952 Olympics. As a professional, he won the heavyweight title twice. On the negative side, he is also known for his two fights with Sonny Liston where Liston knocked him out in the first round in both battles.
