The Bible has a number of authors, the Old Testament was written by a number of authors, major ones including Moses, David, Soloman, Jeremiah, Isaiah, and others. Much of the New Testament was written by the apostles of Jesus. King James only ordered a codification for an English translation.

The biblical authors were a series of men especially chosen by God to be the writers. The 66 books were written by over 40 different men. Their ranged from kings to fruit growers.
