Rod Stewart got his break with the Jeff Beck Group, alongside Jeff Beck, Ronnie Wood, Micky Waller (later replaced by Tony Newman) and Nicky Hopkins. He and Wood then joined Faces with Ronnie Lane, Ian McLagan and Kenney Jones, before Stewart went solo.
