I think the best place to get photo supplies would be B&H. They have a website and they have pretty much anything you could want or need.

If you develop your own film, only buy supplies from a photography supply store or online service. For camera bodies, lenses, filters, etc., photo blogs list reliable online suppliers; your local photo store has knowledgeable staff to help you choose. Big box stores have less knowledgeable help, but good prices.

For physical stores, Ritzcamera, National Camera Exchange or Wolf Camera are good. The best online sources are Adorama. com, BHVideo. com and Ritzcamera. com. BestBuy has some stuff, also look at jr. com. Amazon!

Local stores are always beneficial because you can talk to the employees and gain their knowledge, or bounce ideas off of them given your particular situation. Online, however, calumet is good, wolf/ritz camera is good, or pictureline
