Given the chance, I'd stay at the Amanda Guest House in Dover. It's an adorable little Victorian house turned into a bed and breakfast. It's close to town and the ports. You can pay less just have the room, but staying for breakfast is fun.
You could try the Westbank, the Number One Guest House, or Number Twenty Four Bed and Breakfast. The Marquis at Alkham, the Beulah House, and the Maison Dieu Guest House are all very nice.
Dover is a traditional seaside town and a port for ferries crossing the English Channel. There are many small hotels and boarding houses to choose from depending on your budget. From quaint bed and breakfast accommodations to more modern hotels, you have a range to choose from.
