Question by  swayze16 (2)

Where do I find the brand and model on a guitar?

There was nothing to say what it was on the guitar itself. It was either scratched off or just not there.

The brand of guitar is usually on the inside of the sound hole, right under the strings. If that has been removed than the easiest way to tell would be to either post a picture online or go to the local guitar shop. They might know form experience.

If this guitar had a brand name on the headstock or in the sound hole, they are long gone now. I haven't looked yet, but might it be under the neck? This acoustic has a bolt-on neck.  add a comment

Usually the information about the guitar is on a piece of paper glued inside the guitar. Look in the sound hole to find it. Often there will be the model and even serial number. Often the brand is also on a decal on the head stock.
