Dubuque Lane Guest House is a brand new, freshly renovated space overlooking the Winooski River. Great for a family, or someone who wants a little more privacy. Original artwork by the owners is amazing. And downtown Burlington is just minutes away (closer than from most of the big hotels).

The Hilton Burlington hotel is great value, and a perfect location. However, if you are looking for something more "rustic" the Anchorage Inn is nice. The Courtyard is also great.

The Sheraton Burlington would be a good place to stay since it is a very short drive from Downtown Burlington and also has The Church Street Marketplace.

I say every places in the world are good. Only the natures are created by god the others are upto human beings. The place may be worse due to the people staying over there. So you have to look into it and try to make them good through government rules.
