What will a urologist do during an examination?

A urologist may do any of the following:- Prostate examination to check for signs of inflammation etc. The flow through the urethra can be checked. Test where a radio opaque dye is injected into the vein. The flow through the kidneys, bladder, ureters and bladder and urethra can be checked.

The urologist will certainly take a specimen and determine if an infection is present. Additionally, after urination, an ultrasound measurement may be performed to indicate if urine retention is a problem. Additional tests may be performed if warranted.

A urologist will give a bottle and ask to collect the urine sample in it for the investigation. A person visiting aurologist only has to give urine sample.urolgist will check the quantity of sample,and than look for sugar, protein ,bilirubin ,microbes etc present inthe sampleand give the report.
