The 80's had a fun and colorful vibe to the clothing! Neon was widespread, along with anything spandex, leg warmers, colorful scrunchies, Madonna-like lacy outfits and fingerless gloves, chunky, bright jewelery, Members Only Jackets, acid-washed jeans, keds, converse, "Mom" jeans, Baja hoodies, stirrup pants, anything paint-splattered, the preppy look, swatch watches, and jelly shoes. If it's tacky, it's likely 80's!

Growing up in the eighties I can say for sure, bold floresent colors, lots of bangle bracelets, yoke skirts, and oversized t-shirts tied on one side or buckled were very popular. Also popular was a return of fifties style fashion with penny loafers, headbands, and scrunching your socks. Name brands that were popular were JimmyZ, Bongo, Zcavvarichi, Guess, and Esprit.
