What shots do dogs need?

The first round of shots, is usually given by the breeder at about 6 weeks old. The next round should be given around 10 weeks and then again at 13 weeks. These are DHLPP shots that protect against Parvo, Distemper, Hepatits, and a couple other things. At 16 weeks they should get rabies shot. Then each should be given yearly.

There are several shots puppies and dogs need as early as a few weeks and throughout their life. Your vet will tell you which shots are required in your area.
