The medicine that makes me most want to pass out is Benadryl, which I take when I'm suffering from allergies (i.e. itchy eyes, runny nose, etc.). The combination of Benadryl with alcohol just exacerbates this problem, but alcohol also make me sleep if I take it with any other allergy medicine.

There are many types of medicines that will make you pass out depending on the period of time you are wanting. A common one isn't exactly even a drug, it's just common alcohol that you can drink. That will make you pass out eventually. A drug that will make you pass out, but is definitely dangerous is chloroform.

One medicine which can make you drowsy is penicillin especially if the tablets are a strong dosage. Some tranquilizers can cause a drowsiness effect and sleeping tablets can cause drowsiness as well has helping you sleep. A product called night nurse which helps you when you have a cold can cause the patient to become sleepy.

Taking medicine over the counter without knowledge can have -ve effects. They might not kill you but just pass out you. Benadryl (though a cough syrup) but taking over dose will be harm full. Sleeping pills like trika can also do same over does will just make you pass out and not die.

unlike Taran here just said. .. an overdose of sleeping pills CAN AND WILL KILL YOU. thats how most people kill themselves including my mothers friend so DO NOT OVERDOSE ON SLEEPING PILLS!
