The puncuation is a big part of an acceptable resume. It defines the person as to whether or not they check for accuracy. Experience is recommended in most high-end receptionist postions but not always neccessary. Education should be mentioned but the most important part would be the job history and neatness overall.

Of course you need to show experience as a receptionist. But you need to show that you can do more too. For example did you schedule meetings with clients, arrange travel for managers, take care of the office machine maintenance? Anything like this will help give you that extra edge.
