Furrow irrigation is suitable for a variety of soil types, land contour and slopes. It is most often effective for broad row crops such as cotton, corn, citrus, stone fruits like peaches, and even tomatoes. Check with your Co-operative Extension or Dept of Agriculture for best use in your area.
