It depends how the car is equipped. If its a Malibu with a 307 in clean condition, it could be worth as little as $3,000-$5,000. If its a non-SS car that is in good shape with a 350 engine, it might bring $7,000-$12,000. If its a genuine SS big block car in good shape, its likely worth $25,000 or more.

Depending on mechanical and cosmetic condition inside and out, mileage, modifications and accessories added, values range from $500 (no engine, many other parts missing, salvage), $2,000-$3,000 (restorable to good--mostly intact, although possibly not running), $8,000-$12,000 (body and mechanical very good to fine), and in mint condition, $14,000 and up. A fully restored and customized one recently sold for $34,500.

There is no way for me to give an accurate value for your car with just the year and model. It could be worth anywhere from a few thousand all the way up to a couple hundred thousand. It really depends on what the demand is and what is special about your car.

Your 1971 Chevelle or probably worth about eight to ten thousand dollars. It depends on what damage is on the car as well.
