Considering the Bible is merely compiled from pre-existing documents from various sources, it is one of the best historical references in existence. In order for it to be invalid, there would have to be a massive conspiracy over thousands of years in order to dupe the reader. There could be error in individual books, but as a whole, likely not.

The most obvious validation of the bible is that it has served has at least part of the basis for morality in Western society for almost the past two thousand years.
