An Eskimo spitz dog is a high energy animal. He needs lots of outdoor exercise. The spitz can be dog aggressive, but generally accepting of people. He is best raised with older children. Spitzes can be great family dogs. They socialize easily, but need much training. They are intelligent and affable.

The environment of a large family is probably the best place for raising an Eskimo spitz dog because they make much better pets when exposed to plenty of socialization. The breed has been known to be wary and aggressive with stangers.

This is a question that is difficult to answer. Any dog can be aggressive, some are calm and submissive, some are over zealous for life in general.
