Having a metallic taste in your mouth can be from a numerous things. It could be from medications that you are taking or posioning to food allergies. If it continues I would follow up with your primary Doctor.

Tap water can have trace amounts of copper, zinc, iron etc which can lead to a metallic taste. Water filters can help eliminate the metallic taste.
