There are a series of questions which makes sure that a bible student understands and believes the fundamental doctrines as taught in the bible. These questions are designed to make sure that a student is ready to dedicate his life to God and understands the seriousness of such a dedication.

Before a Jehovah's Witness can be baptized, he or she must meet with church elders and satisfactorily answer the 80 questions found in the Watchtower Society's book, "Organized to Accomplish Our Ministry." Baptism generally happens after several years of study and demonstrated devotion to the organization.

Jehovah's Witnesses require that you be a part of the religion for a while and prove that you are committed before you can be baptized. Specific details depend on your congregation. I think doing a ministry skit during a meeting is one requirement. Also, going door-to-door regularly. Meet with the elders of your congregation and show your them you're interested.

As one of Jehovah's Witnesses I wouldn't call it a "baptism test." These questions help the person to make sure they're ready to prove their faith to Jehovah and others.

It's a test of faith, I guess. They do view baptism as a test of your obedience to Christ because baptism is the first act of obedience after your salvation.

Their baptism usually takes place in a swimming pool where members of your family and friends watch as you and two Jehovah male members entered the water and start the baptism test by dunking you into the water. It is just a momentary submersion.
