Jesus tells of a man who died before He came. He said after the man died he went to Abraham's bosom. The place seems like a precursor to heaven and most Christians believe they will come to heaven at the end time.
Christian tradition: Whoever believed in the future Messiah would be saved by Him (e. g. , Abraham in Genesis). After dying, Jesus rescued them from Hell during those fateful three days.
