Upholstery cleaner called Folex works best with carpet. You can get it from Home Depot, CVS, Sears and some other stores. Oxi clean stain remover also will do.

Well soak it up with a towel and immediately apply some interior stain remover. Scrub it deep into the carpet to lift the stain. The clean and reapply as needed. Eventually the carpet should come clean.

The best way to remove tea from your car's carpet is to sponge the tea off as soon as possible. Next soak the stain with cold water and sponge again. Using some detergent make sure it's safe for the fabric rub the stain wait a couple of minutes and than sponge with water again. Let dry. Voila its clean.
