Christian Louboutin makes expensive and high quality shoes known around the world for the recognizable red sole. Louis Vuitton and Chanel are two more very high quality French designers with high end shoes. Louboutins are my favorite, because they are known for brazen styles with very high heels. A pair of stilettos can run anywhere from $200-$1000 depending on style.

For men I would go with Christian Dior or even Louis Vuitton, these will be surely leave an impression since walking on these shoes would make someone unique, sleek and stylish. However you must budget accordingly since they dont come cheap, designer shoes are the best for evening and special occasions.
