The average height at three years of age is about 93 cm - a little more than 3 feet. Remember that most children will double their birth height at 4 years of age.

According to pediatric growth chargs, the 50th percentile for boys' height is approximately 37 3/4 inches. This means that generally speaking, half the boys at age 3 will be below that height and half will be above. The normal height range is anywhere between 35 and 41 inches.
