What is Maryland's divorce law related to adultery?

My husband cheated on me, how does the law protect me.

You can file for divorce and cite adultery as the reason. The burden of proof is on you. Google "maryland divorce" and go to the DivorceNet site for more info.

You should talk to a lawyer about the exact details, but I am sure it is illegal in every state to cheat on your spouse. Ask a lawyer about the specifics of the laws in your state. If you have proof that he cheated then your husband doesn't have to sign the papers I don't think.
