Cellulite is a change in the skin surface and fat and causes dimples in the skin surface. It is commonly found in women and rarely found in males. There are many factors that could be the cause of cellulite such as; hormonal, genetic, and the individual's diet. Basically it is the under lying fat not laying properly under the skin.

Cellulite is pockets of fat that get trapped and cause the skin to dimple. Although men seldom get cellulite, it is common for women past puberty to develop cellulite in their thighs, buttocks and abdomen.

Cellulite is fat. It cannot be spot-reduced, despite common myth. However, healthy diet and exercise can lead to a reduction in visible cellulite.

Yes, cellulite is a type of fat. It is usually referring to the outer most layer of fat that we can actually see, and is usually on much larger people. It is often referred to as the 'cottage cheese' look, generally found on the thighs, hips, buttocks, and sometimes on the belly or underarms.
