Credit scores range from 300-900, with 600-700 being the acceptable range. Most lending institutions would not grant credit if your score falls below 600. Above 700 qualifies for better rates.

Credit scores range from 300 to 850. The dividing line between good and bad credit scores is around 640. A score above 720 is usually considered great.

An average or acceptable credit score is 680. A good score is 700 or higher. A very good score is 750 or higher. A score of 800 or higher is great.

An acceptable credit score is 660 points or above but if you can get above 700 it's more reliable and you get a better credit line. You need to have a good credit score in order to get a good loan. For a good loan, you need to have 720 points.

Over 700 is a great score, over 800 is an excellent score, almost the highest you can get. If you are around 600 to 700 that is about average and anything under 600 will probably make it hard to have much borrowing power. If you are under 600 you should find ways to repair it.

It depends on the context. A credit score of 730 is about average, so if the average person would qualify for the use you have in mind than that should be sufficient. If credit risk is lower or higher than a lower of higher score will be acceptable.
